WHAT WE COLLECT You can browse this website without giving us anything. To place an order we need: - your name - your phone number - your delivery address, including pincode - your email address, if you give us one That is the whole list. We ask for a phone number because it is how we confirm a cash on delivery order and how the courier reaches you. We do not operate customer accounts. There is no login, no password and no stored profile — checkout is as a guest, every time. We also record, automatically: - what you put in your cart, so the cart survives a page reload - your order history as orders, because we are legally required to keep sale records - technical request logs, which include your IP address, for security and for diagnosing faults - how this website itself is used, which we measure with our own software and keep in our own system — see HOW WE MEASURE OUR OWN WEBSITE below WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT - Card, UPI or netbanking credentials. We never see, handle or store them. - Any financial instrument details for cash on delivery, which is paid in cash to the courier. - Your date of birth, gender, government ID or any demographic profile. - Anything from a tracking or advertising network. No third-party analytics, advertising or social media tag is loaded anywhere on this website — there is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel and nothing comparable. We measure our own website ourselves, and that measurement stays in our own system. See HOW WE MEASURE OUR OWN WEBSITE below. - A fingerprint of your device. We do not read your fonts, screen, canvas, hardware or installed plugins, and we make no attempt to recognise a device by its characteristics. - Anything you type into a form, including a password, a card or UPI detail, or a delivery detail you enter at checkout. Our measurement records that a step happened, never what was typed into it. HOW WE MEASURE OUR OWN WEBSITE We measure how this website is used so we can see what people look at, where they came from, and where the buying process goes wrong. We do this ourselves, with our own software, and the information is stored and processed inside our own commerce system. We give your browser two random identifiers — one for the visit and one that lasts longer — so we can tell one visit from another, and a returning visitor from a new one. They are random numbers. They are not your name, your email address or your phone number, and they tell us nothing about you as a person. What the measurement records: - the pages you visit on this website, with everything after "?" in the address removed, so no cart link, order number, email address or payment reference is recorded as part of a page address - whether you are using a phone, a tablet or a computer — only which of those, not your device model, operating system or browser - the website you arrived from, as a domain name only, never the full address you came from - campaign labels we put in our own advertising links - the first three digits of a pincode you check for delivery: a postal region, not your pincode and not your address - what happened at each step of buying — a product viewed, a delivery check, an item added to the cart, checkout started, an order placed - for an order, its value and whether it was prepaid or cash on delivery What the measurement never records: - your name, email address, phone number or delivery address - your full pincode - anything you type into a form - any password, card number, UPI ID or other payment credential - your IP address, which is used to answer your request and is not kept in our measurement records - a fingerprint of your device, because we do not create one How long we keep it: - The detailed records of individual visits are kept for no more than 180 days, and are then deleted. - Daily totals — how many visits, how many orders, how much they came to — are kept separately and for longer. They are counts, with nothing in them that identifies a visit or a person. No analytics, advertising or social media company receives any of this. WHY WE USE IT Only to sell you the thing you asked for, to measure and improve this website, and to meet our legal obligations: - to take, confirm, pack, dispatch and deliver your order - to call you to confirm a cash on delivery order before we ship it - to send you order updates - to handle a cancellation, return, refund or warranty question - to raise and settle a tax invoice, and to keep the records tax law requires - to investigate fraud, abuse or misuse of the website - to measure how this website is used, as described above We do not use your details to advertise to you and we do not profile you. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH Only where it is needed to complete your order: - the courier delivering it, which receives your name, address and phone number, and for a COD order the amount to collect - our infrastructure providers, who host the website and database - a payment provider, only if and when online payment is offered — see below - a government authority, where the law requires it We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Our measurement of this website is not shared with anyone at all. It is done with our own software and stays in our own system. No online prepaid payment provider currently receives payment credentials from this website's checkout. Online payment is not enabled at launch, so there is no payment gateway in the path at all, and we hold no card, UPI or netbanking details of yours. That describes the position today and is not a permanent commitment. If online payment is enabled, a payment provider will receive what it needs in order to process your payment, and this policy will be updated to name that provider and state what it receives before that happens. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT Order, invoice and tax records are kept for as long as tax and company law requires. Measurement records follow the periods set out in HOW WE MEASURE OUR OWN WEBSITE: the detailed records of individual visits are kept for no more than 180 days, and the daily totals are kept separately and for longer. Everything else — your delivery address, your phone number, an abandoned cart, our technical request logs — is kept for as long as it is reasonably required for the purpose it was collected for: taking and completing your order, answering a question or a complaint, investigating fraud or a security incident, dealing with a dispute, and meeting an obligation the law places on us. We acknowledge a request within 7 calendar days, and ordinarily answer it within 30 calendar days. Both are subject to our being able to verify that the request is yours, to any applicable legal requirement, and to the exceptions the law allows — we cannot, for example, delete an invoice we are required to keep. Requests are handled by a person, not automatically. COOKIES We use only what the website needs to work, and what we need to count visits: - an identifier that keeps your cart and your checkout session attached to you while you shop - two measurement identifiers, as described in HOW WE MEASURE OUR OWN WEBSITE All of them are set by this website itself, are readable only by our own servers and not by any script running on the page, and are not shared with anyone.
